I love to surf, even though I’m really not good at it...
Professional surfers would call me a kook, which is a phrase for someone who’s more of a distraction than an actual surfer. Still, I keep trying. It helps me to maintain a beginners mindset, reminding me of the power of routines and exercise. It forces me to stay present, enjoy the process over the end result. I love being one with nature and am truly mesmerized by ocean waves. Waves taught me to stop picking up fights literally in the ocean and figuratively in my leadership journey... And consequently, I learned the deep satisfaction of a flow state, better and more lightly than ever.
